At Brandywine Balustrades, the fabrication process begins at the computer. We believe in an interactive design process. Every part is carefully drafted using industry standard design software. This allows easy review of all design parameters before the fabrication process begins. Because of the complexity of this type of design, the client and designer must work together to create a design that meets both the customer’s vision and the builder’s parameters. This may include (but is not limited to) on-site templating, field measurements and shop drawings, as well as electronic and real-time communication. For any design where ornamental iron or glass is involved, on-site templating is required.

Once the design is complete, all parts are fashioned using a combination of modern machinery and hand tools. We strive to develop new methods and acquire the most up to date technology, which allows us to streamline the fabrication process. Nevertheless, each component that comes out of our shop receives the same attention as if it were carved completely by hand.

All parts will be shipped to you with detailed installation instructions. Our expert staff will do everything they can to answer your installation questions and assure you that our parts are as easy to install into your stair system as any standard stair parts with which you are familiar.
